Dr Rob Gordon is a clinical psychologist and an expert in mental health first aid. Dr Gordon has hosted a series of webinars to help support people affected by bushfires. Run by Bushfire Recovery Victoria, each webinar has been recorded so that you can watch at a time that suits you.

This site has been designed for both visitors and local residents of the area and includes a website directory with information on accommodation, local businesses, community groups and transport. There are also photos depicting the history of the town and a section dedicated to the Community Fire Plan.
East Gippsland Shire Council

Bushfire Recovery Victoria was established in 2020 after the devastating fire events of 2019/2020. BRV are a new, permanent and dedicated Victorian Government agency working directly with local communities to listen, help and deliver what they need.

This is a Facebook group which has been set up to support the Buchan, Gelantipy and Districts to recover from the impacts of the 2019/2020 bushfire season. To be a member of the group you need to be either a resident of our catchment or have a direct link to support someone within the catchment.
